Who is responsible

EDIT-R decides how your data is used (it is the data controller). Contact: kobcmedia@gmail.com.

What we keep

Your email address, a scrambled form of your password (never the password itself), confirmation that you are 18 or over (not your date of birth), the country you signed up from, your plan and payment records, and a history of how your credits were used.

To keep accounts safe we also keep the names of the devices you sign in on, when they were last used, and a scrambled form of your IP address for rate limits.

Your media

Media you send to an AI tool is processed and then deleted when the job ends. Anything left behind by an error is deleted automatically within a day. Finished AI intro videos are kept for 7 days so you can download them, then deleted.

Why we use it

To run your account and the tools you use (our contract with you), to take payments and keep tax records (legal duty), and to stop fraud and abuse (our legitimate interest). We do not sell your data, show ads or use tracking for marketing.

Who processes your data

Cloudflare hosts the site, stores account data, sends our emails and runs the Turnstile check that stops bots. Paddle is the reseller for EDIT-R and handles your payment details; we never see your card number. When an AI tool is switched on, the provider it uses gets only what that job needs: ElevenLabs for speech to text, Higgsfield for AI intro videos, and an AI language model provider for intro scripts, named here before AI Intro opens. Beats, drums, AI Cut and the scene finder run on EDIT-R's own servers. Some of these companies work outside the UK; when they do, the transfer is protected by the safeguards the law requires.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in, and one remembers a sign-up that was refused for age. Both are needed for the site to work. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Account data stays while you have an account. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. Email links are deleted a week after they expire, and rate-limit records after two days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing kobcmedia@gmail.com. We answer within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
