Who we are
EDIT-R ("we", "us") is based in England. You can reach us at kobcmedia@gmail.com.
Our order process is run by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payments, tax, invoices, payment questions and refunds, and its buyer terms apply to every purchase.
Who can use EDIT-R
You must be 18 or over to make an account. Accounts found to belong to someone under 18 are closed and any unused payment is refunded.
Your account
One account is for one person. Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account. We recommend confirming your email so you can get back in if you forget your password.
Plans
There are four plans: Free, Starter, Pro and Ultimate. Free costs nothing, has no credits and does not include the AI tools. There is no free trial of the paid plans.
Starter, Pro and Ultimate are paid every month and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account page. Your plan then stays on until the end of the month you paid for, and you are not charged again. If we change the price of a plan, we will email you at least 14 days before the new price applies to you.
You can change plans from your account page. An upgrade starts straight away: you pay the difference for the rest of the month and get the extra credits for the rest of it. A downgrade starts at the end of the month you paid for; nothing is charged or refunded before then, and you keep your current plan and its credits until it starts.
Credits
The AI tools use credits. Each paid month comes with that plan's monthly credits. Monthly credits are used first and end when the month ends: they do not roll over.
Top-ups are extra credits you can buy while you have a paid plan. They are used after your monthly credits and never run out while you have an account.
Credits have no cash value. They cannot be sold, transferred or swapped for money. How many credits each tool uses is shown in the panel and on your account page, and can change; a job that has already started keeps its price. If a job fails, its credits are returned.
AI features
Some features use artificial intelligence. Results are made by AI and can be wrong, so check them before you publish. You must have the rights to the media you upload. You must not ask for content showing real people, or for anything illegal, hateful or sexual. We may refuse a request that breaks these rules.
Your uploads
Media you send to an AI tool is used only to do that job and is deleted afterwards, as the privacy policy explains. You keep all rights to your media and to what EDIT-R makes for you.
Fair use
Do not share your account, resell access, try to get around the limits or the credit system, overload the service, or copy or take apart the EDIT-R server. Daily limits protect the service for everyone. We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, and an account is put on hold while a payment dispute is open.
The service
We work to keep EDIT-R running and correct, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law. Apart from those, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email you before it applies.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protection of your local consumer law.
